What are you searching for?

According to Hitwise , as reported by BBC News Online, the top 10 UK search terms in the UK during the past four weeks have been:

eBay
Argos
Amazon
Easyjet
eBay UK
Autotrader
Ryanair
www.ebay.co.uk
Tesco
BBC

What I find really odd about this is that a) ebay appears three times and b) one of those instances is the actual URL of the site. Another thing I've noticed is that all of these, other than the BBC, are e-commerce sites.

Michal Piotr in Warsaw submitted a comment here listing the top ten search terms for the two busiest Polish portal sites. Unfortunately, my comment system picked up on a few of those terms and figured it was spam.
